Every senior and family has different needs. We begin by listening, identifying what is most important, and developing a personalized plan focused on maintaining independence, safety and quality of life.
We start with a conversation and comprehensive assessment to understand your current situation, daily needs, concerns, available support, transportation, appointments, household responsibilities and future goals. Together, we identify where assistance may be helpful and what matters most to you.
Based on your assessment, we develop a personalized plan focused on your individual needs and goals. The plan may include organizing bills and paperwork, coordinating appointments and transportation, identifying home and community resources, and determining what additional support may help you remain safe and independent at home.
We help put your personalized plan into action by connecting you with trusted resources and coordinating the services you need. This may include transportation, appointments, home care, meal services, housekeeping, home maintenance, medical equipment and other community resources. We can make calls, gather information and help coordinate services so you and your family do not have to navigate everything alone.
We provide ongoing support as needs and circumstances change. We can follow up on appointments and services, help with paperwork and bills, make necessary phone calls, coordinate resources, and help resolve everyday concerns. Regular check-ins help seniors and families stay organized, informed and confident while supporting the goal of remaining safely and independently at home for as long as possible.
You don't have to figure everything out alone.

Founder & Senior Life Navigator
Founder & Senior Living NavigatorMistey LewisBorn and raised in Eastern North Carolina, I have spent more than 20 years serving seniors, families, and my local community. My experience includes senior living leadership, assisted living, memory care, independent living, and working with North Carolina regulations and services for older adults.
As a person living with low vision disability, I also bring a personal understanding of what it can mean to face changes that affect independence and everyday life. My own experiences have given me an even greater appreciation for accessibility, dignity, patience, and the importance of having the right support and resources available.
Because Eastern North Carolina is home, I understand our local communities and many of the resources available to seniors and their families. I know that finding the right care, services, transportation, housing, or senior living option can feel overwhelming—especially when circumstances change unexpectedly.
I created Senior Living Connections & Navigator to provide personalized, knowledgeable guidance. I take the time to listen and understand each person’s individual situation, explain available options, connect seniors and families with helpful resources, and help them make informed decisions with confidence.
My goal is not to tell you what decision to make. My goal is to make sure you understand your options, know where to turn for help, and feel supported as you make the decision that is right for you or your loved one.
